Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fintiri announced his decision during a statewide broadcast on Friday, stating that he moved to the APC alongside members of his cabinet and all officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
He explained that the defection was taken in the overall developmental interest of the people of Adamawa State.
