Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muhydeen Salman Hussein, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Oke-Ode-born Engineer Bayo Ojulari as the Group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and prayed for his re-election in 2027.
Delivering a Ramadan lecture organised by the BABAYUO Foundation at Ile Elemosho Mosque, Ojulari Compound, Oke-Ode, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Sheikh Muhydeen Hussein lauded the President for the confidence reposed in Engineer Bayo Ojulari, whom he described as a worthy ambassador of Kwara State with excellent service delivery.
The Islamic cleric also acknowledged the efforts of the NNPCL Group CEO in implementing reforms in the petroleum sector in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
Sheikh Muhydeen Hussein later offered prayers for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections, noting that one good term deserves another.
He also used the opportunity to sympathise with the Elesa of Oke-Ode over the recent bandit attack on the community.
The Elesa of Oke-Ode, Oba Muftau Adebayo Akanbi Ibrahim, urged indigenes to emulate Ojulari and others investing in community development. He noted that normalcy is gradually returning to the community.
